This year we have four new awards. The Chroma award for realising potential through creativity, the Viapath award for innovation in healthcare science, the IBMS award for inspiring the biomedical workforce of the future and the Biomedical Scientist of the Year award, sponsored by Health Services Laboratories.

The Guardian is our media partner, and sponsor of the innovations in mental health services award.

The awards will be presented on Friday 20 April 2018, Chelsea Harbour Hotel, London.

The Advancing Healthcare Awards are organised by Chamberlain Dunn and are now in their 12th year!

Our aim is to recognise and reward projects and professionals that lead innovative healthcare practice and make a real difference to patients’ lives. The awards are open to allied health professionals, healthcare scientists and those who work alongside them in support roles. The awards are unique in that they are UK-wide and cover all these professional and specialists groups whose achievements so often go unnoticed.
